The Alchemist - CD LAUNCH CONCERT

Magnificat return to Oxford to celebrate the genius and creativity of Orlandus Lassus, whose Magnificats paid tribute to other Renaissance masters by reimagining their music. Rich, dark-hued compositions by Josquin, Morales and Verdelot contrast with exuberant polychoral works, culminating in Lassus' brilliant 10-voice setting, Aurora lucis rutilat.
